I can’t say enough about my experience with Andrew, the owner of Ventura Music School, he’s AWESOME! He has helped me achieve my lifelong dream of playing the guitar and playing it right away. He actually had me playing some good classic songs on the first lesson so I didn’t feel like I was just learning some boring scales and techniques – I was learning and having fun doing it. That’s not to say my fingers didn’t get sore, they did, but it didn’t stop me from continuing on and with Andrew’s support and encouragement, it makes me want to keep stretching and learning and having fun. Finding myself with some time on my hands and acting on a recommendation by a friend to check out “Meetups” to find people with similar interests, I came across Ventura Music School’s music jams and beginning guitar classes. What a fantastic find! I cannot say enough about the organizer and instructor, Andrew, who not only is a fantastic musician, but more importantly is a great guy with a lot of patience.

I highly recommend these classes as a wonderful opportunity to polish your skills, or maybe finally pick back up that guitar you’ve been storing away for years (me). Or, if you are someone who always wanted to play but couldn’t find the time – these stress free classes are perfect for you!

Andrew supplies the music and the know how. Bring a guitar and the desire to play and sing music in a group of peers in a totally non-competitive atmosphere.
